Ashley Bell leaves a lasting impression. Born and raised in Orlando, FL, this city girl has a large and nurturing family that supports her each day. Her interests include crafting, traveling and anything in a chevron print.
Bell attended the University of South Florida as a mass communications major and graduated in December 2014. The inspiration behind her university choice stemed from an USF alumnus that she had the chance to meet while on a high school trip to Washington, D.C. When Bell was not studying, she was performing her duties as the secretary of the Zeta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Director of Council Relations for the National Pan-Hellenic Council at USF.
The choice for mass communications as her major came naturally for Bell because of her strong abilities to communicate clearly through verbal, written and visual methods. Bell’s concentration choice of public relations results from her want to maintain a good and lasting relationship between her future employee and its publics. Some of her experiences with media writing include courses such as Beginning Reporting and Writing for the Mass Media.
Since meeting the USF alumna at the capitol, Bell has dreamed of moving to Washington, D.C. with aspirations of working on the public relations team for a senator or even the president of the United States. Writing skills will play a prominent role in this career goal as they are needed to properly and appropriately address situations and issues that may occur.
